About
I am a senior AI research engineer and AI R&D lead specializing in medical imaging AI, computer vision, spatial AI, LLM systems, and research-to-product execution.
I work best on problems where the technical risk is real: ambiguous research, difficult data, precision-sensitive imaging, spatial representation, prototype validation, or AI claims that need serious technical review.
Selected experience
- Meta Reality Labs — spatial AI, AR/VR, wearable-device prototypes, multimodal embeddings, and device-oriented research implementation
- QuantumCyte — medical-imaging AI, microscopy/pathology workflows, segmentation-to-output pipelines, calibration, spatial alignment, close to 5 µm precision workflows, and patent filings
- AGAT Software — AI R&D leadership, LLM systems, AI assistants, anomaly detection, and customer-facing AI capabilities
- Hebrew University of Jerusalem — M.Sc. Mathematics, mathematical modeling, abstraction, and research reasoning
Technical strengths
- Medical imaging, microscopy, pathology AI, segmentation, registration, calibration, and spatial alignment
- Computer vision, tracking, image processing, model evaluation, and research implementation
- Spatial AI, 3D scene representations, multimodal embeddings, Gaussian splatting, surfels, and CLIP-like models
- LLM systems, RAG, vector databases, AI assistants, and production-oriented ML workflows
- Python, C++, CUDA, PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, OpenSlide, VIPS, AWS, and Git
How I work
I usually start by clarifying the technical risk, data constraints, current architecture, and likely failure modes. From there, the work can become a short assessment, focused sprint, implementation retainer, or advisory relationship.
Available for selected contract, advisory, and research-engineering engagements.
